Who we are

Our story

SSH3L1T3 started before it had a name. Taha, Youssef and Mohamed were already playing CTFs together, late at night, one flag at a time. It was the best way they had found to understand how systems really work.

At SASE there was nowhere to do that with others. Class gave us the theory and no place to practice it. So we built the club we wanted: a path that starts from zero, labs where breaking things is allowed because they were built for it, and a team that plays real CTFs together.

What we've set up so far

Club name and logo, a GitHub organization, a club email, a team on CTFtime, our first public CTF writeup, the Discord community, the bot that tracks progress, and the joining CTF.

What we believe

Code of conduct

The rules

  1. 01We practice only in isolated, authorized labs and CTF platforms.
  2. 02No testing on UM6P or any third-party system without written authorization.
  3. 03One warning. A second attempt means removal from the club.
  4. 04We keep your name, email and progress only, and delete them on request.

This year

Goals

  1. Zero to CTF

Take members with no experience to playing real CTFs.

target At least half of the members who start at Launch are still active at the Wargame.

  2. Compete as a team

Play public CTFs as SSH3L1T3 on CTFtime and climb the ranking.

target At least one public CTF before the end of the semester, and at least five member writeups published.

  3. Run the 1v1 Arena

Our own competition: duels all semester and a bracket finale.
